The Second ‘Radio Three for the Mountains’ Festival in Szklarska Poręba – February 11-13, 2016

For the first time this year, Polidomes had the opportunity to take part in this festival. By special request of the festival organisers, the company built geodesic dome tents on ‘Radio Three Square.’ One dome tent served as event facilities, whereas the other event tent served as the heart of the whole festival. Both geodesic tents were covered with branded membrane covers. For the second time, the Municipal Center for Culture, Sports and Local Activities in Szklarska Poręba organized the Polish Radio Three Festival under the name “Radio Three for the Mountains”. From February 11th to 13th, a team from Polish Radio Three headquarters stayed in this beautiful mountain resort, conducting interviews and meetings with prominent personalities from the fields of culture and sport. Everything was broadcast live on Polish Radio Three. For three cold days, all participants were protected from the snow and low temperatures. Heating systems were installed, ensuring not only optimal temperatures inside the dome tents, but also the highest degree of comfort of our design. Since the festival lasted late into the night, we added colorful lighting to the geodesic domes as an additional attraction. Over those three days, you could Michał Ogórek, Antoni Piechniczek, Wojciech Pszoniak, Philip Springer and Artur Zmijewski – the stars of this year’s festival – right in the main tent. All the while, they held and open-air live broadcast, so that those of you who did not have a chance to come to Szklarska Poreba could stay up to date with the festivities. “Markomania,” “In the Key of Radio Three” and a list of Program III hits were broadcast live by Marek Niedźwiecki. The event was accompanied by additional attractions inside the Polidomes geodesic tents, including Valentine’s Day craft workshops where guests could create their own Valentine’s cards and crystal Valentines, a workshop on cosmetics based on different types of chocolate, and a meeting with Joanna Chmielewska, the author of the 2016 book “Under a Wandering Angel”. Additionally, there were concerts by Ania Rusowicz and Natalia Lubrano. The advantage of our spherical tents is their unique combination of functionality and safety. Our customers can be confident that even during difficult weather conditions, guests will feel welcome and safe in our Polidomes spherical event tents. Whatever the occasion, whatever the season – our tents are just right for your event!
