What if we used the largest geodesic dome in Europe and enclosed a Tupolev inside it, creating a truly unforgettable, one-of-a-kind dining experience?

Sounds like something out of a movie?
For us, it’s simply another bold idea ready to be brought to life.

Gigadome – an extraordinary geodesic structure with a 74-meter diameter and a height equivalent to an 11-storey building – was originally created for the Planet Budapest project. It has already proven its ability to deliver a true “WOW” effect on a scale that cannot be replicated.

This time, the client approached us with a concept that instantly captures attention: placing a full-size Tupolev Tu-154Mat the heart of a luxury restaurant.

Tupolev Tu-154M as the centerpiece of an immersive restaurant

We were asked to deliver a projection dome capable of accommodating the aircraft while transforming the space into a high-end, event-driven dining venue.

Imagine this:
The Tupolev elevated like a sculptural centerpiece. Elegant tables arranged around it. Candlelight. Evening ambiance. And above it all — a spherical 360° projection of drifting clouds and open sky enveloping the entire interior of the dome.

This is not decoration.
It is an experience.

Scale changes everything

Inside Gigadome, there is no need to compromise on proportions — scale becomes an advantage.
With a 74-meter diameter, the aircraft does not overwhelm the space; instead, it becomes the focal point of a story, while guests still enjoy comfort, openness, and exclusivity.

This is where the magic happens:
when monumental architecture meets bold imagination, something extraordinary is created — something people remember long after the event ends.

Nothing is impossible

As many of our previous projects have shown, limitations mostly exist on paper. We enjoy pushing them further.

We are already looking forward to the next bold application of Gigadome.
Because if a Tupolev can stand inside it — then truly, anything is possible.
