The R&D department at Polidomes never slows down! Our team constantly works on improving our solutions to provide our clients with services at the highest global standard. We are passionate about technological innovations, which is why we regularly test the latest devices and applications to implement the most advanced technologies available on the market.
November 2024 was particularly exciting for us. In our test projection dome, Polidomes P75, we conducted comprehensive tests of three UHD projectors, assessing their potential to create unforgettable visual experiences. The result was spectacular—no shadows on overlaps and exceptional image quality that exceeded our expectations. This was precisely the outcome we aimed for!
Tests in the P75 Dome: Achievements
Our test dome, Polidomes P75, provides the ideal environment for conducting advanced technological experiments. During the tests, we focused on the precise adjustment of the UHD projectors, exploring various configurations and calibration settings.
The main challenge was to eliminate shadows on the seams of the images generated by the projectors (so-called overlaps). By employing modern calibration algorithms and meticulously positioning the projectors, we achieved a perfectly uniform projection across the entire dome surface.

The UHD projectors tested are among the most advanced devices available on the market. They offer not only impressive resolution and brightness but also advanced features that facilitate image calibration. The key objective was to create harmony between the quality of the visualized image and technology that ensures a comfortable viewing experience.
